Five years calls for a celebration with a little chaos. Expect carnival, games, an Amazing Race, a 3K Fun Run and cinema on the lagoon — with a Jet Car twist. Then, on 28 October, the big day puts Maldivian culture at centre stage, with local flavours, music, traditions and creativity taking over the island before a major birthday production brings everyone together.
